By order of the municipality, the town hall of Leidschendam was extended. To this end, an annexe to the existing building at Koningin Wilhelminalaan was constructed. For the energy supply, a sustainable climate system was created combined with a cold and heat storage system consisting of an open soil energy system with one cold well and one heat well.
VHGM was involved with this project to consult on the cold and heat storage system and to provide practical support during the execution phase in order to safeguard quality. Due to a tight time schedule, VHGM also did project management for the cold and heat storage component.
We performed the following activities for this project:
- Groundwater analysis to determine degassing pressure
- Consultancy/inspection design of soil energy system
- Project management cold and heat storage component
- Quality control Realisation cold and heat storage system
